Hastings House is a spacious coastal lodge in Seahouses, Northumberland. The accommodation spans two floors with three ground-floor bedrooms featuring super-king zip-and-link beds and small TVs. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms, a family bathroom with large tub and a lounge with balcony, wood burner and Wii console. The open-plan kitchen boasts a Rangemaster oven, American fridge-freezer, two dishwashers (no arguing over who's washing up) and a dining table seating all ten guests.

Within easy reach you'll find Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles, 10-minute drive), Beadnell Bay (3.5 miles, 10-minute drive), Holy Island (accessible at low tide) and boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses harbour. The beaches here are some of the most stunning in the UK - perfect for long walks or building sandcastles.
