Beautiful lodge everything you needed and more, spotless
Very impressive accommodation. Owners attention to detail was first rate. We had booked the lodge to spend our Golden Wedding with our family, and it was a truly memorable stay. Surrounding countryside was lovely too. We enjoyed so many nice walks.
We were so delighted when we arrived and saw how beautiful and spacious the lodge was. It was immaculate throughout. Very comfortable beds and clean bedding. Bathrooms and kitchens were pristine. Very well equipped kitchen. Thank you. It was a joy to spend our nights here.
Cheryl
This lodge was fantastic, it was lovely spacious set in beautiful woodland. The lodge was in a perfect position in the park for us to park but also to walk my dog as there was plenty of little walks next to our lodge. The hot tub at the lodge was one of the best I have had, the temperature was fantastic & the lights around made it magical. Debra the owner was great she messaged me on the first day to check everything was ok & to leave me her number for any problems. The lodge facilities were great & has instructions on every appliance.. could not have asked for more for a lodge & we will definitely be back.
Claire
Beautiful lodge. Modern and great layout. Everything you need provided. Lovely hot tub Great communication with owners and well located. Even took the train to Edinburgh for the day Only downside was close proximity to other lodges with some privacy issues, but normally we hire a cottage or house. Neighbours on last days were definitely not ones we would choose. Too much booze fuelled swearing up to 1am, but not reflection on the otherwise great time we had. Would highly recommend this lodge. The lodge is fantastic, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Also very clean and modern. The owners are very on the ball and quick to reply with any issues.
Alistair
Great, well appointed lodge. Good location at Otterburn Hall Estate. Only minor comment is that it would have been nice to be able to separate the recycling. But really enjoyed our few days away.
Our stay at The Broken Sky Lodge was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the thoughtful touches, like the delicious cookies and sweets waiting for us. The lodge itself is beautifully appointed, with great facilities that made our stay both comfortable and convenient. The beds were incredibly comfy, ensuring we had restful nights, and the large hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which allowed us to cook most nights without any hassle. The peacefulness of the site added to the overall relaxing experience, making it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our host was attentive and checked in from afar to ensure everything was going smoothly, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, The Broken Sky Lodge provided us with a lovely stay, and we couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended!

Property is really well maintained, stylishly done inside and super comfortable. The owners were very helpful and communicated with me regularly on the day of arrival. Kids loved the hot tub and it was a good base for us to visit the Northumbrian coast, Lake District and Edinburgh as all within a couple of hours away. Only slight issue was a 30th birthday party being a bit noisy in one of the neighbouring properties one evening well into the early hours combined with a strong smell of marijuana
Fantastic property which had everything we needed, we particularly enjoyed the hot tub. It is set in a peaceful location with plenty of walks available in the local area. Premier shop and pubWilliam de Percy not too far away in Otterburn village plus you get a 20 discount at this pub when staying in the lodge which is a bonus.
Initial thoughts were oops with the condition of the hall and coach house outside owners control. However once at property very impressed, very clean and had everything we required for our stay. We had a very good time chilling out nice to see the squirrels etc. Hot tub very good. We are thinking about returning
Brilliant stay, little touches made it. Leaving cookies and sweets for my daughter. The owners checked in with us the next day to ensure everything was ok also. Would return and love the site.
Very clean and warm and welcoming. Excellent facilities and well maintained hot tub ready as you arrive.Clear instructions re travel and appliances etc.Would visit again.
Claire
Had a fabulous week at Broken Sky Lodge, lovely clean & comfortable lodge. Beautiful surroundings and so much to see & do in the area. Will definitely be back.
Claire
The lodge was beautiful and the area was very peaceful with loads of wildlife. We enjoyed walks round the area, especially to the village pub, which does lovely food. It was a great base to explore Northumberland. Only feedback was that the lodge could have done with blackout blinds as the sun woke us up, but who can complain at the sun!
Nicola
We had a lovely, relaxing stay! Fantastic lodge, the hot tub was perfect. Lovely are to explore with the dog and the accommodation was so well looked after. Beautiful place to stay for a few days away with friends.
Louise
The lodge is lovely with everything you need they could do with providing fans ... The lodge is lovely with everything you need they could do with providing fans as it is extreamly hot in there in the heatwave we had the kettle was disgusting and broken there was several pans with food still on them the shower head in main bathroom was covered in limesscale apart from that the lodge was perfect
Dorothea
Brilliant lodge. We had a lovely holiday. Would definitely stay there again.
Lovely lodge, clean on arrival, beds really comfy. Dog friendly which was great for us. Not much to do whilst on the site but a short drive to Kielder Water was great fun. Lovely walks and bike hire. Had a meal at the coach house on site which was beautiful and also at the William De Percy short walk away which was also lovely.
Lovely location Lake could be a bit cleaner with more benches. That just one small contrition. The lodge was facilitated with every we could wish for. A proper home from home. From lovely clean beds made for us to washing up liquid dishwasher pods and loo rolls provided. Nipping clean. Friendly hot tub guy coming around every morn to put solution in tub. We had one night of clear sky. Felt like we could touch the stars. Enjoyed our country walks where we saw a dear and red squirrel. Ordered and picked up meals from the Coach House. A little pricey but delicious. Hence why we ordered again. Cant wait to go back. Loved it. A family of five with a dog. A lovely chilled relaxing holiday at Otterburn
Elaine
Lovely property in a great location everything we needed. A shame all the walking paths on the site were closed but appreciate that this is out of owners control just that this is one of the reasons we chose the lodge. Would stay here again.

Just returned home from an amazing weekend in the lodge for my Aunties 50th birthday 6 of us. We were all so impressed with how clean and well kept the lodge is, such a nice touch that we were left a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolate biscuits too, these were much appreciated. The hot tub is just fabulous, very easy to use and so relaxing always perfect temp too! There is some lovely walks round about. The lodge overall was beautiful with such comfort. Thank you so much we will be returning for sure xxx
The lodge is very comfortable and well equipped we especially appreciated using the hot tub. It is fairly conveniently situated for exploring north Northumberland and we enjoyed trips to Alnwick Gardens, Bamburgh Castle and Kielder Water. The Bellingham Heritage Centre is well worth a visit.
Lodge was very comfortable and well appointed. I loved the hive heating system which came on automatically when the temperature dropped handy for first thing on a morning for a September holiday! and was easy to boost during the day to take chill off when necessary. Could have done with somewhere to store muddy boots and wet coats although we were lucky with the weather, so not such a problem for us. The decking area and hot tub were well maintained hot tub was serviced every morning and perfect to relax in after a day out exploring in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Would certainly recommend for a peaceful get away break
Caroline
Beautiful lodge in a perfect setting. Close to many places for visiting and exploring. Would definitely stay again.
Valerie
Such a lovely lodge & park. Hot tub was great. Lodge itself, much more spacious than Id thought. Owners were so thoughtful and welcoming. Nice little touches. Good selection of places to eat. Our favourite William de Percy,s Creperie was walkable. Weather was amazing too! Used the tennis courts. Would definitely go back to the Lodge. Thanks again
Needs to state more clearly on availability of local amenities, for example the local pub only opens so many days per week.
