The lodge sits within a peaceful country park filled with wildlife and scenic trails. Take a morning stroll through the grounds before heading to Alnwick (10 miles away) or the stunning Northumberland coast. There's even a free golf course on site - though I can't promise it'll improve your swing!

The accommodation features two bedrooms - one double with en-suite shower room and one twin with 2'6" beds. The bathroom includes a bath with shower over. The heart of Jax Retreat is its open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting areas with an electric fire for those cooler evenings. Modern conveniences include a dishwasher, washing machine and Smart TV.
Nearby attractions include Northumberland Zoo (great for animal lovers), Alnwick Castle (where they filmed Harry Potter), Northumberland National Park for hiking and Amble with its harbour village and beach (perfect for ice cream and fish and chips).
