Thornbrae Retreat is a stunning contemporary stone-built cottage right on the doorstep of Alnwick town in Northumberland. This two-bedroom beauty combines modern luxury with traditional touches, making it perfect for families or friends wanting a seaside getaway. Just a short drive from the gorgeous Northumberland coast, you'll be spoilt for choice.

The location is bloody brilliant. Fancy a stroll? The historic town of Alnwick is just 10 minutes away on foot. Want beaches? Alnmouth's golden sands are only 4 miles from your door. Everything's within easy reach - pubs, restaurants, shops and major attractions. Ever tried reading a book while soaking in a hot tub? Now's your chance!

The accommodation features two gorgeous double bedrooms upstairs, both with en-suite bathrooms for that extra bit of privacy (no more awkward hallway dashes in your towel). The property is lovely and finished to a high standard. The location is perfect for easy access from the A1. Alnwick has lots of lovely places to eat and so much to explore all within walking distance. The site has a number of properties and would be great for a large family or friends gathering. The hot tub at the Retreat, where we stayed, isn't covered which meant we didn't use it as we had rain at times. We highly recommend staying at this property!
