Seacot - 5 The Wamses Reviews

Emma Roberts
Really cosy place, perfect spot, had a wonderful stay, definitely coming back soon!
Emma
We loved this place! Plenty of space for our group of 10and the beach access through the garden was a real bonus. Perfect spot and highly recommended from us.
Oliver
Staying at Seacot with our four kids, aged 3 to 6, plus their parents, turned out to be just what we needed. The place is really well thought out for a big family - spacious, bright rooms that aren’t too fancy, so no worries about the little ones breaking anything. The outdoor space is definitely the highlight, with a private garden leading straight to the dunes and then onto the beach - such a lovely setup! Beadnell itself is a bit of a good place, with its mix of sandy and rocky beaches that feel quite special and off the usual tourist trail. The weather was patchy, but we still managed loads of trips, especially the boat tour to Inner Farne Island, which everyone loved. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxed family holiday!
Mark
We loved the spot if you’re into sea swimming and beaches. Seacot’s perfect for big family get-togethersand the local food scene is pretty decent, especially Landing restaurant. Avoid Craister Arms, but the fish and chips van is fantastic!
Emma
We had a fantastic time staying here! The location is perfect, just a few minutes from a lovely beach and a handy village shop nearby. The house was super well-equipped - everything we needed was thereand the beds were really comfy, making it feel like home. The cosy log burner added a nice touch. The owner was lovely, came to meet usand provided a helpful tour with all the instructions. They were very approachable if we needed anything. Definitely planning to come back sometime, it’s a really lovely place!
Emma
The cottage was fantastic, really cosy and well-equipped. We loved how close it was to the beach and that there were two nice pubs nearby. We’d definitely return for another stay!
Claire
The location is fantastic, right next to the beach, which we absolutely loved! The house itself is really roomy and cosy, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. We’re definitely coming back soon. Thanks a lot, Christopher! It was great.
Alex
We loved the fantastic location right on the beach, perfect for long walks to Seahouses. The house had decent facilities, but there weren’t enough comfy seats for nine people - the window seat and small stools weren’t great for long stays, so we ended up on the floor most of the time. Sadly, the cleanliness was disappointing - thick dust on units, a dirty carpetand black mould on the bathroom ceiling. It’s a shame because the setting was lovely, but we wouldn’t stay again due to these issues. Still, the access to the beach was a real highlight!
Emma
We loved the place! Spacious, well kitted out house with a lovely garden. It’s super child-friendly and feels so warm and loved, with nice furnishings and pictures. Just a minute to the sandy beach and close to pebble beaches too. We’ll definitely come back - highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
Emma
Seacot’s spot is amazing, right near Beadnell beach, which is stunning-though the access might be tricky for some, with a bumpy lane full of potholes. The beds are super comfy with cosy quilts, perfect for relaxing. However, the cottage itself could do with a good deep clean and some TLC, especially the soft furnishings and bedding. It’s a lovely place, just needs a bit of sprucing up to match the location’s beauty!
Emma
We reached out via email about our dissatisfaction, hoping for a quick reply.
Emma
The spot was perfect for the kids, honestly couldn't ask for better. Beds were super comfy and everything we needed was provided. Looks small outside but inside, it's surprisingly spacious!
Jane Carter

The owner was super friendly and helpful, making our trip even better. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!
Emma
